Dominicks almost everything is 50% off

Dominick's are due to be closing here on December 28,2013 here is list of who is participating

Baby, Personal Care, and Medications were 50% last week
On Friday, December 12, 2013 food and laundry were added
Monday, December 16, 2013 Liquor will be added.

I went the first week and did not attempt to go this Friday because from what I was seeing on the blogs and from the news I just go not brave the shopping experience and the lines.

Buffalo Grove — “The Dominicks on Buffalo Grove Rd and Rte 22 IS NOT participating in the 50% off. They have a sign up that they also are not closing on Dec. 28th. I know Mariano’s bought that store, so I don’t know what they’re going to do with the merchandise.”

Elmhurst — 83 & St. Charles. (Turning into Whole Foods?) Update — now they are participating, see above
Evanston on Green Bay “They have a sign on their front entrance that they are having reduced hours starting I believe the 15th. They will close down at 10:00pm then, and I believe December 28 will be their last day, and they will only be open until noon that day. This is one of the stores rumored to be taken over by Whole Foods.”
